All PA adults are eligible to schedule a COVID vaccine appointment, starting Tuesday

Starting next week, mobile vaccination and education units will be sent across Pennsylvania to provide vaccinations to underserved communities.

Pennsylvania has moved up the date for when vaccines will be opened up to all adults.

Starting on Tuesday, April 13, all Pennsylvania adults will be eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, Gov. Tom Wolf and the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force announced on Monday.  

Prior to the announcement, vaccines weren’t scheduled to open up to all adults until April 19.

To date, Pennsylvania providers have administered more than six million vaccines and more than 2.4 million Pennsylvanians are fully vaccinated. 

The Department of Health said that as eligibility expands, they will continue providing their ongoing initiatives with the Area Agencies on Aging to provide assistance to vulnerable seniors and other equity initiatives.
