As election night looms candidates in Boston’s mayoral race look forward to ushering in results surrounded by supporters, staff and family while remaining cautious of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Some candidates will be sharing their election night with the public, either virtually or through in-person events with increased safety protocols, while others will be spending the night in closed ranks, with invite-only indoor gatherings.
In all cases, at least some COVID-19 precautions will be in place as infections continue statewide.
The Campbell campaign, which will be hosting a hybrid event with limited in-person attendance at Prince Hall Grand Lodge in Grove Hall after the polls close said attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination. Details on where the hybrid aspect of the evening can be viewed are still being finalized.
Similarly, the Essaibi George campaign will also be having a small invite-only in-person event at Venezia in Dorchester
