BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Republican-dominated House on Wednesday voted to override GOP Gov. Brad Little’s veto of a measure seeking to curb a governor’s power to respond to emergencies like the coronavirus pandemic.
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — State officials say despite a fourth surge and rising numbers of patients hospitalized because of COVID-19, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown will ease restrictions by allowing “indoor full-contact sports” to restart by the end of the week.
Last week, when the United States temporarily halted use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, Idaho public health officials saw the number of people accepting vaccines to decrease.
“I don’t think I can overstate the urgency of this particular topic,” said Debbie Critchfield, president of the State Board of Education.
Idaho Health and Welfare appears to no longer be updating COVID-19 data on Saturdays.

Any Idahoan 18 or older can get a vaccine at this event.
Still more “informal” evictions – those that happen outside of the court process – happen regularly.
The move made Tuesday also affects Boise, Elmore and Valley counties.
